Mateo's story began when he noticed a homeless man sitting outside his school in Cairo. Instead of ignoring the man like many others did, Mateo approached him and struck up a conversation. The man, named Ahmed, shared his story with Mateo, explaining how he had fallen on hard times and was struggling to find work. Determined to make a difference, Mateo decided to take matters into his own hands. He convinced his parents to help him organize a donation drive to collect essential items for Ahmed and other homeless individuals in the area. Mateo and his family set up a donation box outside the school, and word quickly spread throughout the community. Within days, the donation box was overflowing with clothing, food, and toiletries. His selfless actions demonstrate that no act of kindness is too small and that even a six-year-old can make a significant impact on the world around them.
